Preparation & Storage (RUO)

WellChain cannot provide dosing or administration advice. The information below is general RUO handling guidance only.

Handling

  • On arrival: Inspect packaging for damage; compare label to the COA.
  • Environment: Work in a clean, dry area. Avoid prolonged exposure to air and light.
  • Personal protection: Follow lab PPE requirements (gloves, eyewear, coat).

Reconstitution (RUO)

  • Use bacteriostatic water or appropriate solvent where applicable.
  • Clean vial stoppers with 70% IPA; use sterile needles and syringes.
  • Gently swirl. Do not shake vigorously.
  • Label reconstituted vials with the date and batch ID.

Storage

  • Unreconstituted: Store sealed vials in a cool, dark, dry location. Many researchers keep them at 2–8 °C.
  • Reconstituted: Store refrigerated at 2–8 °C; use within your lab’s validated window. Minimise freeze/thaw cycles.
  • Light & air: Protect from light; avoid leaving stoppers punctured.
  • Dispose of vials and sharps according to your lab’s biohazard policy.
